When Kristine moved to Montana, it was tough for her to be away from everything she knew. It took her a while to adjust to a new lifestyle. After a few years working for the State, she met new people, developed friendships, and participated in community sports, she grew to LOVE Montana. She didn't realize how much she loved the outdoors. She learned to snowboard, play golf, and even drive a boat! Eventually, Sam and Kristine got married, had kids, and purchased their first home. Life was great! Until 2019, Kristine was diagnosed with Stage 2B Breast Cancer. It was a rough year going through treatments and several surgeries while raising 2 little ones, whom are both Autistic, while juggling full time work at home and home schooling during COVID lockdown. Kristine has been blessed with an amazing support system amongst her friends and family near and far. Her number one supporter and a HUGE THANKS to her husband, Sam. He motivated her, consoled her, loved her, and always reminded her that she's strong and beautiful everyday! He was her biggest cheerleader!
Around April of 2021, the dust settled and Kristine finally completed treatments and several surgeries. Since then, things have been looking up for Kristine and her little family! With the recent pain and suffering she went through she was to determined to not waste any time living, enjoying, and loving life! And she did! In the last year, she and her family traveled 3x more than they usual do in a year! They got to explore and visit Kristine's side of the family more times than she had in the last 10 years. She realized that life was too short but traveling wasn't enough to fill her cup. She wanted to do something with her life, start something new, make a big change, but what?
Up until the summer of 2021, she woke up on a Monday morning and found herself registering for a business called #MontanaVibes. From then, the rest was history! She's always wanted to start a business one day, but she couldn't believe it was all happening right then. Everything was happening so fast but smooth as if the universe aligned the stars just right and said, "there is no better time than the time we have today!" "YOLO" - in the words of her Brother in Law, Cole would always tell her.
A Word from the Owner: "Starting a business in your Brother-In-Law's basement isn't exactly the perfect scenario, but we all have to start somewhere, right? When you believe in something and put your heart, soul, and dedication into it, anything is possible no matter where it starts!"
